THE TOGETHER RX ACCESS™ CARD AT A GLANCE

• The Together Rx Access™ Card is unique because it will allow approximately 36 million
uninsured patients – 80 percent of the total uninsured population – to access the broadest range of safe prescription medicines (brand-name and generics) and products at meaningful savings through a free, easy-to-use card. Together Rx Access™ also can help
direct individuals to various additional resources, including companies’ existing Patient Assistance Programs, for help obtaining coverage or products.

• Together Rx Access™ Cardholders will save approximately 25-40 percent, and
sometimes more,* instantly at the pharmacy counter on:
o More than 275 brand-name prescription medicines and products from some of the world’s best-known companies
o A wide range of generic products
• Information about the program is available at www.TogetherRxAccess.com or by calling 1-800-444-4106.
• The Together Rx Access™ Card is available to Americans with no coverage for prescription products.

To be eligible for the Card, applicants must:
o Not be eligible for Medicare
o Have no public or private prescription drug coverage
o Have incomes of 300 percent FPL or below [$30,000 for a single person and
$60,000 for a family of four (income eligibility adjusted for family size)]**
o Be a legal U.S. resident

• More than 275 FDA-approved prescription products from 10 major companies are included in the Card program, including dozens of medicines used to treat diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, cancer, allergy, asthma, arthritis, and depression, which are
among the most common conditions affecting Americans. The program also offers savings on a wide range of generic products.
• A majority of pharmacies nationwide and in Puerto Rico will accept the Together Rx Access™ Card by the middle of February and 100 percent of the savings being offered by the participating companies will be provided to the consumer at the pharmacy counter.
• In addition to participating in Together Rx Access™, each of the 10 companies
independently offers Patient Assistance Programs (PAPs). People applying to enroll in Together Rx Access™ will be automatically notified if they may be eligible for furthersavings – and in some cases free medicines – through these PAPs.

• The Together Rx Access™ companies are Abbott, AstraZeneca, Bristol-Myers Squibb
Company, GlaxoSmithKline, members of the Johnson & Johnson Family of
Companies***, Novartis, Pfizer, sanofi-aventis Group****, Takeda and TAP
Pharmaceutical Products Inc.
• A previous collaborative initiative among seven of the companies participating in the
Together Rx Access™ Card is the Together Rx™ Card. With nearly 1.5 million
cardholders, it is the most widely enrolled prescription savings card for low-income
Medicare beneficiaries. It has helped seniors save over $700 million on prescription
drugs since 2002.
* Savings may vary depending on the pharmacy’s customary pricing for each specific product and the savings program offered
by the participating company that makes it. Participating companies independently set the level of savings offered and the
products included in the program. Those decisions are subject to change.
** Alaska: $38,000 single/$50,000 couple; Hawaii: $35,000 single/$45,000 couple. For households of three or more, call 1-
800-444-4106 for eligibility information.
*** Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies participates through Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical, Inc. and Janssen
Pharmaceutica Products L.P.
**** The sanofi-aventis Group is participating through its U.S. affiliates Aventis Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Sanofi-
Synthelabo Inc.
